Ecclesiastes 9:11-12

The race is not to the swift,

Nor the battle to the strong,

Nor bread to the wise,

Nor riches to men of understanding,

Nor favour to men of skill;

Like birds caught in a snare,

So the sons of men are snared in an evil time,

Those who seem to be faster, stronger, richer or more skilled are no greater or more blessed than you. We are all governed by the same laws - God's laws. Time cannot be controlled by man, it does not treat some of us favourably while treating others unfavourably. The sons of God are not deceived and are not surprised by the sign of the times!
